This was the second time renting from ONA. My first experience was flawless, but was also many years ago. This time, while sitting in a Hawaii airport, I got a call that I was expected to be at an Inauguration event – I had no idea and was not prepared. Furthermore, I was scheduled to land at LAX at 5pm on a Saturday and turn around and leave for DC early Sunday morning….what to do! I called ONA and the rest is just as flawless as the first experience. When my plane landed 20 minutes late, I called. They stayed open for me! Luckily, I was able to find a perfect gown in under 30 minutes. No hovering, no alterations…there was a fine rip in the sleeve which was fixed in under 5 minutes. Would I rent from here again…well…I went back a second time…so that answer is YES! ONA offers a wonderful service that has been available to men for years….thanks!!

5/20/2011 My prom dress was amazing!! Everyone kept coming up to me and boys kept chasing after me telling me how beautiful my dress was. I have to say that I had the best dress at the entire prom and I have to say thank you to One Night Affair. It was because of them that my prom was a complete fairy tale. I will never forget that night, it was my once in a life time “princess moment.”

I have to tell you that my wife and I were not only thrilled with One Night Affair, but they saved us from an absolutely disastrous situation. We put a $1600.00 deposit on a wedding gown at Panache Bridal Salon 6 months before our wedding, we kept calling and calling two months before the wedding to see if the gown had come in yet. My wife was starting to panic when it still wasnt here 3 weeks before and she went in to find out why. They just kept telling her not to worry it should be in any day. Well it didnt come in until 6 days before our wedding and it was 4 sizes to big and the wrong color! They said they could do the alterations, it wasnt a problem, so we went ahead out of desperation, then they ended up botching up the dress, it looked like an absolute joke and they wanted to charge us $600.00 for alterations on top of our balance that we had due of $1800.00. Needless to say, my wife was in tears, extremely nervous and upset and just wanted to leave.
Her mom had rented her gown for the wedding at One Night Affair and suggested that we just go in and look. It was the best move we made, she found a gown that was even nicer than the original one she ordered, she was a little nervous because this one was also big on her and would need alterations, but we gave it a shot, what could we loose at this point, we went back 2 hours later and she put on the gown, they made a few adjustments and it fit her perfectly. She was so happy, The stress level changed drastically, and I have to say, she looked absolutely amazing!!!
Not to mention that we paid $725.00 total for everything which I was very happy about.
I tried for months to get my original Deposit from Panache Bridal which they refused and now theyve gone out of business…
I would absolutely recommend One night Affair to every bride out there!

Here’s the deal ladies…if you don’t have designers beating down your door to offer you their gowns or a stylist on speed dial to race all over town pulling potential dresses for you to wear, I have the one and only answer to your prayers, ONE NIGHT AFFAIR. My husband and I have always attended our share of Black Tie and cocktail events, but when he recently became President of the Screen Actors Guild, we found our mailbox flooded with invitations to some of the most coveted parties. Men have it so easy. They throw on a tux and look dashing, we on the other hand immediately think, “Oh dear lord another dress!” I can’t begin to tell you what a joy it was to discover this hidden gem. They have thousands of dresses to choose from and the girls their are so fantastic, consider them your personal stylists! The many times I have been there of late, I’ve seen gals coming in to look for wedding dresses as well. Their selection of wedding dresses is spectacular and I would have given anything to know about them when I got married! Simply stunning selection. Finally we have a company like One Night Affair that saw a need to rent high end couture gowns and filled it exceptionally!! Most women (like myself) feel it’s more financially feasible to pay a fraction of the cost for a gown we’ll only wear once to a wedding or special event and return once we’re done. If we take great pictures, our ultimate goal is accomplished. I have so many friends & family members who said they have their wedding gown (worth thousands) preserved and boxed (never to be seen) or tossed in their garage somewhere. Where’s the sentimental value in that? And what child ever wears the gown their mother wore? I think One Night Affair’s concept of addressing the modern needs of brides and women today are ingenious!!!! There is such a huge void in that area, I just wish they had more locations, which I know it won’t be long before they do. The entire staff was extremely professional, helpful and comforting. I was thoroughly satisfied with the service I received and most importantly, my dresses (I rented 2). The entire process went off without a hitch and the stress factor was non existent. Will I use them again?…..ALWAYS for any formal event. Will I tell anyone about them?? Since my wedding on August 15, 2008, I’ve already referred two newly engaged brides-to-be!!!!! I’ve rented five dresses from One Night Affair and I’ve had an excellent experience every time. The gowns are far nicer than what I could afford on my own–plus, I don’t have to show up to events wearing the same thing all the time. I get compliment after compliment! There is a huge selection of dresses and the women who work on the floor picking out dresses, etc couldn’t be any more helpful. The seamstress is amazing–it’s hard to believe the dress I pick up is the same one that I tried on that was many sizes too large since she fits it exactly to my body as though the dresses had been custom designed for me. The elegant dresses give me confidence at the events I attend. If you are renting a beaded dress you couldn’t find a better selction of drop dead gorgeous gowns, top of the line for an unbelievably low price. Just drive into Beverly Hills and look in the display windows at Saks, they have beautiful silver sequin and beaded gowns, I checked out the prices, they’re in the thousands, yet I found the same gowns to rent for just over a hundred at One Night Affair. I will continue renting from One Night Affair for as long as I have black tie events to attend. Thank you for always making me look and feel amazing!

Although the parking is not so great, it is well worth searching for a spot! I have rented twice and have had a wonderful experience. I felt like a star having my dress tailor made to fit my body!
Everyone wanted to know where I found such beautiful dresses! I proudly let them know where to go so that they too can be a star! I love the way they change styles, all fashion run way dresses on the racks.
Once you go to One Night Affair, there will be no reason to look any further!

I have to tell you that my wedding gown shopping here was easy and wonderful and I could never have imagined it would have been so fun. I came here expecting it to be like all the other wedding gown stores that I have spent so many hours in and leaving so disappointed.
The girls here were so helpful and understanding regarding what I was looking for and I actually rented 2 different wedding gowns. One by Reem Acra for my actual wedding and a red one by Maggie Sottero for my reception. I paid $700.00 for the Reem Acra and $195.00 for the Maggie Sottero
I had a wonderful and friendly experience every time that I visited that store. The girls were always extremely attentive and very knowledgeable of fashion and bridal.
When I picked up my dresses, I had a few little last minute things that needed to be taken care of, but they were quick and easy and they did tell me originally to give myself time when I came in and picked up.
My dresses were absolutely gorgeous, they both fit me like they were made for me.
I got so many compliments from everyone, they couldn’t believe I rented 2 of the most gorgeous gowns that were right out of the magazines!
My pictures were amazing, I felt like (and looked like) a movie star for the day.
Everyone couldn’t stop talking about my dresses. I ended up getting a cocktail dress and a long gown for the cruise that my husband and I went on 3 weeks later for our honeymoon, I could never have afforded to spend all this money on wedding gowns and dresses, it was really unbelievable.
I recommend to everyone to check them out before buying a gown!!!

What an amazing store!… So here’s our story, I reconnected with my high school crush a year ago via facebook. Quickly we both fell in love and to MY SURPRISE, she proposed to me and said she couldn’t not imagine her life without me, so she made me her Fiance. She wanted to have the perfect beach wedding and so we searched for the perfect spot. My Fiance and I found our perfect place to get married in San Pedro this spring and we were both looking for amazing dresses for her. In a short period of time, we looked and looked and found onenightaffair . As soon as we got a hold of them and told them our wedding was around the corner, they jumped through hoops for us to make sure our wedding was an amazing success. How cool that Sharon and Jeff both got involved like family and got us in there to try on dresses for my bride to be in no time. Michelle, My Fiance, was loving how much attention to detail all the staff and seamstress were able to help her get the dress to a perfect fit. We were looking to purchase before, but spending so much money on our wedding, it just helped so much that we could rent dresses from here. Michelle loved her Vera Wang Mermaid Style dress that was fitted for her. I want to thank both Sharon and Jeff and all the staff who helped us get this together quickly and loved the colors they suggested for our bridesmaids. I rented my prom dress from them back in 1998 and had an absolutely wonderful experience! Nobody else had a dress that could even come close to competing with mine, it was so amazing and I still remember feeling like a movie star walking into a movie premiere.
Having never forgotten that feeling, needless to say, when I got engaged last December, I immediately thought of them and was hoping that they were still around. I had moved to Seattle 9 years ago, so I’m not up on everything that’s going on around Los Angeles. I was really excited when I found out that not only are they still around but they had so many more options to offer to make it convenient for someone like me who is out of town. They told me if I didn’t want to fly into Los Angeles that I could do the entire rental (or purchase if I wanted to…which I didn’t want) by internet. I actually preferred to fly down so I could physically see everything that they had to offer….I like to see the fabrics and lace and try things on, and not to mention, have someone help me with that whole process. Considering that I’ve never been married before, I really needed some direction with the whole thing because I was completely stressed out and overwhelmed with this whole wedding idea! A prom dress was one thing, but a wedding dress…this was a whole new ballgame.
I flew in the end of January, had an appointment on a Friday evening, I found an overwhelming amount of gowns that were absolutely gorgeous and the staff was unbelievably helpful, friendly and nice (I don’t know what some of you other people were talking about), they walked me through everything and gave me some extremely creative ideas (which I ended up in the end using), but even so, I couldn’t make up my mind, so I left and ended up coming back the next day, having slept on things, I was ready to go back and make my decision. Nervous as I was, that was the best decision I have ever made. The gown was unbelievably beautiful by the designer Eve of Milady, I got all the extra “STUFF” to go with it, jewelry, veil and headpiece, even the understuff. I ended up flying in one more time a couple weeks ago, just before my wedding to have it altered and fit to me, which again worked out splendid, not a single glitch, and I took it home with me.
My wedding was as magical as anyone could ever imagine, I couldn’t have hoped for anything more…I looked and felt like a princess bride, and everyone was completely blown away when I told them that I had rented it from the same place that I had rented my prom dress 12 years ago in Los Angeles. I have nothing but fantastic things to say about One Night Affair and I will make sure that I tell everyone that I know and anyone who I don’t know who will listen, that I highly highly recommend them, they are one of my favorite memories of my entire wedding day!!!
